Why can't I find any items for sale on your site?
Vintagestock.com is now an informational site only. We no longer offer items for sale. We might go back to that in the future, but for now, it is strictly information only.

Do you still buy books?
Our Joplin store is the only store that still buys and sells books. To contact them, check our locations page.

How much can I get for my stuff? We cannot give quotes until we see the items. You must call your local Vintage Stock for buying information.

What video games do you carry? We carry every video game system from the vintage Atari and Nintendo systems to the latest XBOX360, Playstation 3, and Wii, plus handheld systems like the GameBoy and PSP. We have tons of great games for all of these systems.

Do you buy or sell computer games? No, we no longer carry games for computers. All of our games and systems are console-based.

I want to trade in my stuff for something new. How does that work? Bring your stuff into your local Vintage Stock. They will take a look at it and give you a Cash and Trade value. Typically, the Trade value is 50% more than the Cash value (for example, a Cash value of $1.00 would be a Trade value of $1.50).

What is that Special Order button at the top of the screen? That links to a third party site that supplies us with Anime-related products. If you're looking for wall scrolls, anime soundtracks, etc, check that site out. The link contains info if you're interested in ordering anything from that site.

I want to work at Vintage Stock. How do I get a job? On the front page, click the "Now Hiring" button on the right side. Under Career Opportunities, click "Download an Application". Fill out this application and take it to your local Vintage Stock.

Is there a minimum age to work at Vintage Stock? You have to be at least 16 years old.

Do you guys carry new comics? When do they usually hit the shelf? Do you have a subscriber program? Yes, we do carry new comics. They typically arrive on Wednesday, unless there is a holiday earlier in the week. If you would like to be a subscriber and take advantage of the discounts and other specials, contact your local store.

Do you have gift certificates available? Yes. They're available in any amount. Contact your local store and they should be able to help you out.

What's the newsletter about? Sign up and we'll let you know about special events, sales, new store openings, and more via email.

Does Vintage Stock offer rentals? No, not at this time.

What's Movie Trading Company? We acquired Movie Trading Company in the summer of 2006. They mainly focus on movies, music and video games. They also offer rentals for movies and video games. To find your local Movie Trading Company, click here.

I sent an email to my local store, but never received a response. Why? Unfortunately, our old email system incorrectly flagged many emails as spam. We have since upgraded our system, so you shouldn't run into this problem in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
